Policies 

1. KLMJ Sunkissed Program. * The fine print for our Sunkissed Plan: The cost of the Sunkissed plan is 15% of the trip total. It is fully recoverably by booking a second trip prior to checking-out from the original trip and will be applied as a booking credit (not combinable with other offers or discounts). Rebooking Credit must be applied to a new booking within 48hrs of cancellation or it becomes null and void. Cancellations between 0 - 72 hours prior to check-in receive no refund. Early check-in/out are subject to availability at the 24hr mark and (both in terms of occupancy and cleaning services, as deemed by the property manager). (Re)booking credits expire once applied to a subsequent booking. If the subsequent booking is also cancelled or altered, the (re)booking credit is void and does not apply. (Re)booking credits have no cash value and cannot be combined with other discounts in any form. Only guests who book directly through the KLMJsunshine.com website are eligible for the Sunkissed Plan. The Sunkissed plan may only be selected during the booking process and must be added at that time, if desired. Refunds are calculated on rent, cleaning, and tax line items. The cost of the Sunkissed plan is not included as part of a refund.

2. Gift Certificates (Donated). Gift cards have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash or other goods. Gift cards are only redeemable at KLMJsunshine.com and not on 3rd party sites (like Airbnb). Regular rental rules apply, such as variable minimum night stays. Recipients of gift cards must keep their codes private. Anyone who has the code can use it and, once it has been used, it cannot be used again. Specific terms and conditions related to property rental apply. Guests are required to agree-to and sign a rental agreement prior to their stay. There are no refunds provided for gift cards. Gift cards are donated by KLMJ Sunshine and must be redeemed within one year of donation. Dates for travel can be more than one year away, but the reservation itself must be made within one year. Reservations made that include gift cards, if cancelled or changed, invalidate the gift card and its value unless directly coordinated with, and approved by, KLMJ Sunshine. Gift cards cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions, or offers.

4. Credits and Promotional Offers. Credits and promotional offers expire one year after they are issued and are not combinable with other offers or discounts. Credit must be applied to bookings of 7 nights or more. Once a credit is applied it becomes null and void, including in cases where the booking changes or gets cancelled (they are not able to be used to re-book dates). Credits and promotional offers must be applied at booking through the KLMJsunshine.com website and may not be applied retroactively. Credits and promotional offers are valid for direct booking only and may not be applied to Airbnb, VRBO, and other 3rd party bookings. No cash value and must only be used by the person who was issued the credit.

5. Cancellation Policy. a) 100% refund for cancellations 60 days or more from check-in, less payment processing charges (approx 3%). b) 50% refund for cancellations 30 days or more from check-in. c) No refund for cancellations less than 30 days from check-in. d) Bookings policy date thresholds for bookings made on 3rd party platforms (eg. Airbnb) shall supersede the above-noted policy date thresholds. e) We strongly encourage all guests to purchase 3rd party cancellation insurance, as we cannot issue refunds outside of our posted cancellation policy. We are a small business and guests should not rely on flexibility on this policy is lieu of purchasing proper cancellation insurance.
